I successfully completed my international certified wound care management training fifteen years ago and increased my practical skills during my work at different departments of general surgery. Frequent interaction with the surrounding wound experts and further education helps me to share my state of art expertise with you.<\/p>\n<p>Wound care management includes an integrated treatment of patients suffering from \u201eproblematic wounds\u201c. Life quality is often decreased due to pain, absence of any healing tendency, inappropriate bandages and social isolation. In most cases chronic wounds are associated with chronic diseases and demand a multi-disciplinary approach.
